Join Sophie for weekday Yin yoga classes in studios around Bristol. These sessions are gentle floor-based practices with a focus on releasing into held postures for several minutes at a time, thereby stimulating the deeper layers of the body (connective tissue, joints and bones). Yin is a deeply relaxing, meditative style of yoga and can be a wonderful accompaniment to more active forms of exercise and for those wishing to balance busy lifestyles with a practice that is centred around slowing down and cultivating mindfulness.
Soothing Yin

Join Sophie at Bristol Osteopaths for a soothing evening Yin Yoga class, with a focus on deep relaxation and tension release. You will find a calming atmosphere conducive to unwinding both body and mind, where you will be guided through a series of poses encouraging connection to the breath and to the present moment. Supported by bolsters and blankets, each pose invites a gentle opening and surrender, cultivating a sense of peacefulness and ease. Poses in this class are held for five minutes to enhance your embodied experience, restoring balance in your nervous system and leaving you feeling calm and centred once you step off the mat into the rest of your evening.
